Ted works at the University of Oregon as the coordinator of the UO Bike Program, a student-run outfit offering bicycle loans, a free do-it-yourself workshop, education, and events related to bicycling.  He also races for the University of Oregon Cycling Team, though not in a particularly distinguished way.  Ted serves on the City of Eugene’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

During Summer 2011, Ted will be part of a course taught by Professor Marc Schlossberg in Amsterdam, an intensive study of the bicycle infrastructure there.  After that, Ted will be riding his bicycle from Amsterdam to Copenhagen, an essential bicycle pilgrimage.

This blog tracks the above projects, as well as Ted’s general outlook on bicycling.  Welcome!
